Jaman.com ... a good reason to turn off the television ...
A few weeks ago a press release came across my desk about an online film company that was very striking. I love independent, foreign, and art films. Jaman.com is a great way to delve into the viewing these types of films online. I just joined the site myself and will be viewing a popular series on the site called Westwood Park, which is a soap opera of sorts about high society in the Caribbean.
Here is the boiler plate from Jaman.com which gives more info about the company.
"About Jaman.com
Jaman.com is revolutionizing the way people discover, enjoy and share
movies all over the world. The company is pioneering entertainment on the
Internet by delivering high-definition films to a growing online community
of fans and filmmakers. Viewers around the globe can browse and select from
Jaman library of thousands of unique films. Jaman's popular community
features provide a forum where people around the world can review, discuss
and share world-class films with each other. Jaman is based in San Mateo,
California, and is backed by luminaries in technology and media. For more

I should note that it's very interesting to observe that Jaman.com has obtained titles from very reputable places such as BBC Worldwide America and Arts Alliance America. Jaman.com also features films from prominent film festivals such as Tribeca Film Festival and San Francisco International Film Festival. I am really looking forward to exploring this site and watching films here.
